Eileen Davidson may be an actress, but she never stuck to any script on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Although she found huge success in the soap opera genre, Eileen decided to experience the world of reality TV when she joined Bravo’s hit reality show in 2014. Alongside newcomer Lisa Rinna, the pair brought star power, wealth and more than a few unforgettable quotes.
“Just because you’re the loudest and the most obnoxious does not mean you’re right,” Eileen once told Kim Richards during a reunion show. “I have something to say!”

Eileen had wine thrown in her face by Brandi Glanville, filmed The Young and the Restless with Erika Jayne and had an unforgettable exchange with Kim during the season 5 cast trip to Amsterdam.
“I’ve had enough of you, you beast!” Kim said in the now-iconic dinner scene. Eileen replied, “BEAST?! How dare you?!”
When Did Eileen Davidson Leave ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’?
In July 2017, Eileen announced she was leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after three seasons with the show.
“After a lot of careful thought, I’ve decided because of my crazy schedules at The Young and The Restless, as well as Days of Our Lives, it’s best for me and my family if I step away from being a Housewife for now,” she told E! News at the time. “But you never know, I might be popping in from time to time just to see what the ladies are up to! Thanks for your love and support guys!!!”
As promised, Eileen did make a brief cameo in season 8 after stepping away from her full-time role with the show.
Has Eileen Davidson Come Close to a Reality TV Return?
In January 2026, Andy Cohen announced the cast for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, featuring Vicki Gunvalson, Luann de Lesseps, Porsha Williams, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow.
Many additional Real Housewives stars, who appeared in the franchise over the past two decades, are expected to make an appearance.
According to social media, Eileen was in attendance for a large reunion party that had Bravo cameras rolling. Viewers will have to watch what happens to see if she makes the final cut.

What Is Eileen Davidson Doing Today?
While Eileen doesn’t document every moment of her life on social media, the actress tries her best to celebrate major milestones with her fans.
In April 2026, Eileen celebrated 23 years of marriage with Vincent Van Patten.
On a professional level, the actress continues to play Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless. In between stints on the soap, the actress has been hard at work on a script that she and her niece, Annamarie Davidson, penned together.
“I have been busy writing and then [doing] rewrites of a script that we have some interest in,” Eileen told Soap Opera Digest in October 2025. “Actually, we just finished [and] now it’s going back to the director.”
