Love Is Blind season 11’s only married couple, Sarah Williams and John Shannon, have called it quits ahead of the hit Netflix show’s highly-anticipated Sunday, November 8, reunion episode.
Williams, 34, reportedly filed for divorce from Shannon, 33, in Massachusetts on June 4, citing an irretrievable breakdown of their marriage, per court documents obtained by TMZ.
The divorce petition seemingly shed light on the timeline of Williams and Shannon’s relationship, revealing that the pair tied the knot on March 27, 2025, but were allegedly living apart by April 15, 2026.
Williams asked the court to allow her to revert to her maiden name for legal purposes, in addition to seeking a division of her and Shannon’s financial assets and debts.

Us has reached out to Netflix for a comment on behalf of the former couple.
News of Williams and Shannon’s alleged split comes just four days before the Love Is Blind season 11 reunion premieres on Netflix this weekend.
A teaser for the dramatic reunion revealed that Williams and Shannon will be in the hot seat, as cohost Nick Lachey is shown asking Shannon, “I’ll ask you point blank, did you cheat on your wife?”
The pair got off to a rocky start in the pods when Williams overheard Shannon telling another contestant she was one of his “bottom” choices. They later disagreed over hot-button healthcare and political topics, with Shannon telling Williams he was hesitant to say he was pro-vaccine or pro-choice.
Speaking exclusively to Us, Williams explained that what viewers saw was a snippet of “a very long conversation” in which she and Shannon talked through their differences.
“I understand why people are saying that when I watch it back, as well,” Sarah told Us in October. “I think we, like, actually really, like, came together, and I almost just had met in the middle. But I actually don’t even think it was meeting in the middle.”
Williams insisted that she would have “been OK with an answer [from Shannon] that didn’t align with my values.”
“I think that I almost wish everyone could have seen the full conversation, because I think it was a wonderful conversation,” she said. “I appreciated the conversation, and that’s why we kept moving forward.”
Love Is Blind’s John Clarifies Beliefs After ‘Condensed’ Pod Conversation
Shannon subsequently clarified in an October 16 Instagram post that he believes in “a woman’s right to choose” and doesn’t consider himself to be anti-vax.
“I tried to communicate during our conversation that I don’t believe abortion should be illegal,” he noted, later adding: “My most recent vaccine was the shingles, which was recommended before I started treatment for my [multiple sclerosis].”
He went on to say, “I love that so many of you recognize how wonderful Sarah is. We had an hour-long conversation about these topics that was condensed into about 45 seconds.”
Despite their differences in the pods, Williams and Shannon were the only couple for season 11 to actually make it down the aisle in the Wednesday, November 4, finale.
Love Is Blind‘s season 11 reunion airs on Netflix Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
