Despite her twin sister’s best efforts, Nikki Bella has not had much luck lately in the love department.
“I’m pretty much like a nun at this point,” Nikki, 42, exclusively told Us ahead of WWE SummerSlam on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2. “Super celibate. I should just put on a ring.”
She added, “I wish I was out there getting wild. I just don’t have energy for it.”
Nikki was most recently linked to Philadelphia Eagles star Cooper DeJean. The pro wrestler and her ex-husband, Artem Chigvintsev, settled their divorce in November 2024 after two years of marriage. The former couple share son Matteo, 5.

Brie Bella said she’s “been trying” to set her sister up on dates recently, but Nikki’s priorities understandably have been elsewhere.
“She’s too busy, and I get it,” Brie told Us. “Matteo is her world right now. She’s like, ‘I have no time between being on the road, our wine company and our podcast, and then Matteo. I try. But she’s like, ‘No, no.’ This is the thing with her: If she has a free night, she wants to Netflix and chill. She’s like, ‘I don’t want to go on a date. I don’t have to dress up.’”
Brie — who is married to pro wrestler Bryan Danielson, with whom she shares daughter Birdie, 9, and son Buddy, 5 — added, “I still keep my eyes open. There’s been some prospects.”
Nikki and Brie will team with Paige to take on Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) during Night 1 of SummerSlam on Saturday.

Since returning for their latest runs in WWE, Nikki and Brie have enjoyed rewriting narratives about their obsession with pro wrestling after “being misunderstood our whole entire careers.”
“At a time when we became massive reality stars [on E!’s Total Divas and Total Bellas], everyone kind of felt that was what we wanted,” Brie explained. “But it’s like, no, we’re massive reality stars because we love to wrestle. But that’s always been [our] fight, which is hilarious to us. We look at online debates and all that, we’re like, ‘Look at all the people who think they know, but they don’t.’”
She continued, “I feel like people have really felt our love and passion for the business because we don’t have to be doing it. We have thriving companies and we do very well. But we love it. And we missed it so much.”
WWE SummerSlam takes place Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with both nights streaming live at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
