Timothée Chalamet had somewhere else to be rather than attending the 2026 Met Gala with girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Chalamet, 30, was spotted in New York City attending the New York Knicks game versus the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, May 4. In a social media clip, Chalamet was seen smiling and interacting with fellow attendees while at the matchup.
“BREAKING: Timothée Chalamet is in attendance for Game 1 at MSG,” the official Tick Pick X account wrote on Monday, alongside a fire emoji.
Blocks away, Jenner, 28, turned heads during fashion’s biggest night while posing in an intricate Custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture nude ensemble that blended into a white gown at the bottom, giving the illusion that the white dress was falling off of her body. The look adhered to the “Costume Art” theme at the gala held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Chalamet and Jenner were spotted out and about in New York one day prior. In a video obtained by Us Weekly on Sunday, May 3, Chalamet stood next to a car door as Jenner stepped out of the vehicle and the pair grabbed hands.
The pair were seeing a weekend performance of Broadway’s The Fear of 13, which her sister Kim Kardashian produces. Kardashian, 45, and mom Kris Jenner were also seen leaving their cars to attend the show.
Days prior, Chalamet and Kylie were also seen inside Madison Square Garden while watching the Knicks play the Atlanta Hawks. Kylie, for her part, clutched Chalamet’s arm while cheering from their seat at the Tuesday, April 28, game.
Chalamet and Kylie, who is a mom of two, have been together since April 2023. After three years of dating, a source exclusively told Us in April that the pair are “very serious and committed to each other.” (The Kardashians star shares daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, with ex Travis Scott.)

“Their relationship is very strong and they have a good rhythm going,” the insider shared at the time, adding that the couple “definitely had a lot of real conversations about their future and what they both want.”
The source shared that the twosome are “not rushing into marriage,” but noted that “they’re totally aligned and have even talked about getting engaged this year.”
“Kylie really wants another baby and has been open about the fact that she doesn’t feel like she needs to be married to do that, and they’re both on the same page about wanting a kid together,” the insider told Us. “Timothée never thought about starting a family until he met Kylie.”
